UNDERLAND PRESS exists on the fringes of genre, both literary and weird. It was originally founded by Victoria Blake in 2006 as an independent publishing company based out of Portland, OR. Underland published nearly a dozen titles under Ms. Blake's exceptional guidance, and in 2013, the imprint was acquired by Mark Teppo, who has been responsible for its list since.

The imprint has won the American Library Association's Best Horror award, and its books have been nominated for the Hugo Award, the Nebula Award, the Shirley Jackson Award, and the International Horror Award.
